This SEED has the Crimson on one side of the map and away from the jungle, also has two easy enchanted swords, and one StarFurry! The dungeon isolates most of the crimson, so you don't have to worry about Crimson spreading across the map. Perfect for beginners!
As of 1.4, worlds are not guaranteed to have sword shrines. Most often, they're in the Surface layer in the outer thirds of your world -- yours probably doesn't have one. Check another world -- if you use a seed, you can go to the same location as somebody else. PC just had an update, I think, so old seeds might not work for it any more.

Post title. The seeds related to sword shrines in this sub from around a year ago are all I can find, but something with the recent updates must have messed the seeds up. Journey Mode seeds preferred, but they may work cross-character difficulty. Edit 1: Managed to find an enchanted sword background item in a cave!
